    Glad I read this before I tried because I too have picked up the same bag... I guess im gonna rinse first lol

    Ended up going bare bottom, gonna try this again now though because my nitrates are way too high. I wonder how long it will take to lower nitrates??? Definitely gonna rinse it this time and cover it with sand, last time I tossed it cuz it was too cloudy, luckily I only lost 2 bucks HAHA.
