my contacts are made to stay in for a month straight, never take them out. its the best. sometimes i forget what its like to not be able to see lol
i can check the brand when i get home. so much easier than taking them out every day. only problem is i think there almost double the price. its worth it to me though.

Just reading this is making my eyes water :freak3:

Keep at it...before long you wont even feel them. That is until someone talks about contacts and it makes your eyes water ;D

My vision wasn't that bad either (-1.5 or so, IIRC). I wore contacts to correct it for years. I finally got tired of it and went and got LASIK. Best decision ever!!!!! What an amazing bit of technology. 8)

Obviously I don't know your situation, but if you have a flexible spending account available to you it's a pretty good way to pay for it. It's pre-tax, so you end up paying a bit less for it in terms of the bottom line.

In my future I will probably get it, after I graduate college and everything I dont think I could pay for it now. But I have asked my parents if our insurance covers it or anything.

Thats what my dad was saying.. he said it isn't really worth it and sometimes it doesnt even work.. so he doesn't want to help pay for it. I would have to look into that more, I dont want to pay for it then have it change that would just suck.. plus I can get away with out my vision is only like -1.20

Yeah, I've heard of this happening. Fortunately for me it hasn't in the last 5 years since I had it done. Most reputable places will offer free corrections for life if you follow their post-treatment plan correctly. It's certainly not for everyone, but I have absolutely no regrets. Painless and nearly instant vision improvement.
