I was wondering if anyone had any success attaching corals to the overflow boxes. I was thinking of trying some watermelon zoas. Any thoughts. I have some GSP and yellow polyps growing on them now but what about zoas?

sounds like a good idea. The overflow box in my tank is the least attractive item, I would sure cover it up with some beautiful pieces of coral if I could/can! Good idea!

Seems to be a possible hazard to me. My buddy has xenia growing on his. Just looks like a potential clogging hazard.

Agreed. You would have to make sure to keep the "teeth" clean constantly. Would be a PITA with something like GSP's or xenia

I had mine covered in anthelia. I was just very careful with removing the coral when it approached that area of the overflow. when it starts to grow make sure you place pics..would like to see

I never thought about zoas there; only xenia and GSP. Sounds cool! (and easy)
