I've never had a problem until last month. I bought a T5 unit for my Nano from "REEFMATRIXXX" because of price and his location (one county away=fast shipping) and haven't heard anything. I think it's safe to buy as long as it's not him. Atleast I'm protected by paypal.

eBay is great. I love it. I have had hundreds of transactions over the years and only been taken twice. Both were sellers with low rankings. So I do no deal with sellers with a rating of less than 100 or percentage less than 99%. I will dip down to 98% if the seller has, say, some rediculous rating of 12,000. The odds tend to swing back to your favor. And PayPal is excellent. I even use it for off eBay purchases and transactions. I owed a friend about $80 for some scouting excursion and paid him through PayPal.

    Peace man......and good luck. John.

Use your own credit card through Paypal to pay for purchases.

if you ever need to dispute, never contact Paypal. Always contact your credit card company this will get things moving along quickly.

I have personally sold/bought on eBay for years and have never had a problem yet. You name it cell phones, books, flippers, shoes, compact lights, coralife light fixture, powerheads, copepods/amphipods, plus many other things. But just like many have said before make sure you buy from someone with awesome/near perfect feedback and like pharmrjohn said you can go a little lower if the person has crazy rating of like 10,000+ (with that many sales there are bound to be some type of problems with any company/seller)
