hey guys, Im beginning to plan out the fish room and the new refugium.

Im going to do a 55G as a refugium and sump.

According to some friends the fishroom shouldn't be more than 200bucks, is that reasonable?

The main question is where can i get the dividers for the sump? and how much should i be expecting to spend on the makings of it?

it doesnt have to be exact, just a rough estimate of what you guys have spent all toguether..

Im hoping i dont have to go beyond 400 bucks.

I forgot to mention that im only constructing a wall.. ( as i am doing it next to one, the fish room will only need a wall and a door..) and a friend who knows how to do it is doing it free so i dont have to pay a company to do it either. Im just curious as to how much other people have spent in raw material and such.

any online vendors for the plexiglass dividers?

Building one. However, my fishtank is right next to the garage's wall.. So all i need to do is construct one wall and add a door and a ceiling.
Then drill 2 holes to get the Piping through and thats it.. fairly simple actually.

If you are coverting a room, you will get by on that. Baffels you can get plexi glass from lowes and aquarium safe silicone also. Have them to cut it about 1/8 smaller than you need in width. For the knotching on the over flow i drilled mine with 1/2" metal bit. Support the back side with 2x4 and drill slow to not crack plexi.

Depending on the size of the wall would play a big factor but I would say you might be able to keep it in the $200 to $400 range
