if ur not aggressive riding then you don't need to build you own bike lol.

I am just a really big fan for every day riding. They don't worry about being wet or icy or muddy. They are a billion times more powerful than their cantilever counterparts and just cooler looking too lol.

LOL very true on building but thats the fun part :p and looking much cooler and more stopping power im in :):):). What brake company you reccomend? I have crane brakes on my road bike with spinergy xaero lite wheel set and all the other componets are FSA.

    Juicy 3

I am running a 5 year old version of these on my old trek mtn bike which is nearly 10 yrs old and going strong!!!

I love these brakes!! Among the shortest pulls for the lever in the market - and I'm not sure if you have ever used hydraulic brakes on a bike - but it makes regular disc breaks feel like cantilever brakes - they are so much smoother and more responsive.

    You would not regret them.

I don't think i have one handy right now . . . digging the bike out this week as a matter of fact!! Had to put the racks on the buru first so I can get them outta storage!!!

It's consolation for having to put the snowboard away every year - bring out another outdoor toy!!!

    Thule over Yakima any day.

I bought a Yakima set and started to put it together and felt the sub-par build quality. Returned that crap and went right to my local bike shop and got a whole switchable rack system for snowboards/bikes/etc. Cost me nearly $500 - but totally worth it for a few grand in bikes to be secured to a real rack with a real tumbler lock on it.
