Anyone Else Get Alergic Reactions From Their Tank?

I have the same issues.. When ever I do any type of maintenance I itch like you would not believe!! I also cant touch my coral.. When ever I do I end up with red dots all over the areas it touched me and they itch really bad. We are also looking into purchase some tank gloves. My husband is tiered of doing all the maintenance.. lol.. Poor guy..

My skin also gets irritated by my tank water. I think it's the salt. I usually wear gloves, but if I forget, owww! I have heard about some pretty bad reactions to corals, so make sure to get gloves before you have those.

 

LOL.. Agreed! pink is one of my favorite colors ;D! I am very lucky to have such a wonderful person to do my tank maintenance! I have been procrastinating with purchasing the gloves bc I seem to have more time enjoying the look of the tank with out doing anything..lol!! But then again I do miss getting my hands in their and feeding the little guys :..

 

i'm surprised how common this is

lol instead of the blue boarders of 3reef lets make it HOT Pink I don't mind doing maintenance i actually kind of like it, but i love staring at the tank even more
