Anyone ever seen this shrimp before?

    Well. Anyone know what this shrimp is called? I found him in Jamaica. He's allot redder too. Picture doesn't do him justice. For all you Jamaicans. PEPPA SHRIMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    yeah, i've seen 'em before... look on liveaquaria, the name has something to do with blood, if i remember correctly... i'll go check it out and get back at ya...

    hmm... i might be wrong... it looks like either a peppermint shrimp, or a blood red fire shrimp... but with the small pinchers, i'd say peppermint... i didn't say that at first because i thought peppermint shrimp had more white on them... but i was probably thinking of a coral banded... so yeah, i'd say peppermint!!

    Nah it's not a peppermint or a blood. Look at the HUGE serated horn in front.

    oh... well last time, i couldn't get the "big picture"... it just had the thumbnail (or maybe i just didn't try).... but yeah, looking at the bigger pic i was def. wrong... i feel dum...

    Looks like a Camel to me too. It has the characteristic hump!

    I'd say camel shrimp and they are often mistaken as peppermints and sold as such to unsuspecting folks unfortunately. Go by dancing shrimp too IIRC.
