Anyone ever take Paleontology?

    Just curious, because pretty much every single thing which inhabits our reef tanks is discussed throughout the class except for the fish.
    It just gives insight into just how scientific keeping a reef can be.

    wow I sound like a dork, oh well.. ::)

    It has been a long time (27 years), but I took it. If I remember correctly, they did concentrate on land dwelling animals with a smattering from the sea. But my memory fades with age.......;)

    I guess my professor is against them, because its been nothing but inverts in all of their various forms.

    Life began in the ocean and inverts were the first forms of life so I'm not surprised that your prof. is concentrating on these critters first.
