anyone ever us T6's?

i was looking for some lighting to add to my current set-up and stumbled across a t6 set up form aquatraders that was a 2x78watt unit for just under 50 bucks but i have never heard of t6's and was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction

 

Just as good as the T 5's even better really . I mentioned to someone here last fall that they where coming soon , Just make sure the K value is correct . T5 came and went 15 yrs ago in the electrical trade then the T 6 took over you did not need to retrofit the fixture unlike with the T 5 's Lots less money when you are talking several hundred fixtures with 4 to 8 bulbs.. The T 6 will fit a T12 or T 8 pin just add a bushing. The Germans took the T 5 hyped it up and sent it back for I gotta have the newest light ..

 

i was very curious when i discovered the t6 but no one could tell me anything about it.they seemed a great idea and cheap,but their not ho i noticed.their also not as thin but close.i know thinner is more efficient and that t5 were higher output.i may have tried t6 if there was more information about them available.funny cause they are the cheapest light out there.

 

the t6's i seen listed on ebay said that they were t6 ho but it could have just said that to sell the lights. that should the lumen rating be on the bulbs

 

T 6 come in H.O .. I run 2 sets of 4 T'5 ad I still don't see where they can even get close to VHO T12s
