    that meter says it measures lux. for coral i believe you should be measuring PAR.

    Yes, a lux meter is not only useless for aquariums, it is misleading. Lux weights light according to the photopic luminosity function. This is a curve used to weight light to the parts of the visual spectrum that our eyes are most sensitive to. Yellow-green being given the highest weight. However for corals yellow-green is likely not useful, and more blue is, but blue is hardly given any weight. You can still use lux to compare bulbs of the same spectral output (if known which is almost certainly isn't). However, if you want to track your bulbs life for example, it probably won't be useful as your bulbs may shift to lower Kelvin ratings as they get older.

    then what should i buy? im going with LED floodlights blue:white 2:1 ratio.

    i know but i guess u cant measure them inside water. not water proof i guess.

    The Apogee MQ-200 can measure in water.
