    Sounds like you have the right system and you are aware of the difficulties of keeping this fish, plus you are working to ensure the survival of the fish!

    The fish probalby has a much better chance in your tank then in other tanks so...good job! congrats!

    picture hounds here at 3reef. :) Good luck with him, I hear they also eat bryozoans and soft corals in the wild. just throwing it out there...I hope it turns out well and we can all learn the easy way from reading your thread. :)

    My friend in France also had success with the moorish idol. I'll ask his secret. With wat i know, we can only put one idol in a tank and should be well-supplied with food. Well good luck m8. Last I was at the public aquarium od monaco, they had one around 6 inch, it was very cute
