Anyone have a queen angel in their reef tank???

Anyone have a queen angel or majestic angel in their reef tank? what corals do they eat and what corals are ok to put in you tank? I am thinking about getting one and I was wondering if anyone have either in their tank? Thanks

 

we have one in the tank here at penn state. we have 80% sps and no real problems with loosing corals due to fish at all. it is a 500 gallon DT tho

I've had a Majestic in my tank now for over 3 years. I learned quickly that he loves xenia. Other than that he's been pretty good. I hold my breath every time I add something new though. I'd really like to get a clam, but so far have been too hesitant to try one. my 2 cents.

 

we have one clam in the DT. grew it from a little baby and now its massive!!!
never was bothered by the angel

well after last weeks game with iowa i am hesitant to say nething... but we are still going on last years win against ohio as of now

 

even though it has been suggested in this thread that it is ok to add this fish to your tank, I would not. This is the reason that people have to break their tanks down just to catch a fish. I do think that if you do, you are more than likely going to be posting a thread in the effect of "how do I get this angel out of my tank". I personally have never had any luck with any kind of angel included the "bellus" angel which is supposed to be the most reef safe of all of them. take it for what it's worth

 

I love OSU but Texas can beat em all ~

 

With any angel I would try and stay away from soft coral's JMO
