It's an epoxy by Instant Ocean. It's all my LFS had in stock....

Has anyone had experience with it? If so, how did it work?

From the instructions it looks like it may need to be applied to dry surfaces but I need to use it underwater on a large piece of live rock that needs help staying in place.

I have tried all sorts of epoxies over the last year... Holdfast isn't very good. It takes a long time to harden and isn't very sticky. It is a huge pain to work with. On the bright side, it doesn't cloud up the tank very much. Holdfast is good to glue rocks together outside of the water. It isn't good for propping up corals in precarious positions. It is so weak you have to hold the coral upright until the epoxy hardens! On a side note, I find Holdfast and Deltec's Aquascape milliput to be very similar.

My favorite right now is Vertex V-Colla. It hardens fairly quickly, is stickier and stronger than Holdfast, and doesn't cloud up the tank. Tunze Coral Flex is also really good, but is kind of expensive. Just order some online... I think epoxy is a good thing to be picky about.

Avoid Tunze coral fix epoxy at all costs. It clouds of the tank like crazy and is also a pain to work with. I was surprised as Tunze is a real good brand otherwise.
