    thinking about getting one for the 40 breeder. looks like a solid design and not too expensive imo. anyone have any experience?

    I have no experience with their reactors..but the ro/di unit I got from them is amazing. Very well constructed and a good price.

    I have one and I'm happy with it. It's messy to change out the carbon, but I think that would be the same with any reactor. It's definitely good quality for the price!

    I have the one that holds GFO also.

    Total noob here but GFO is the same as a phos reactor right?

    I had the dual reactor for carbon and GFO. I liked it. It's really well built and reliable. I now pirated it and now just have one reactor for GFO.

    What brand Carbon/GFO media do you use in your BRS Reactor. It seems like the pellets of GFO and Carbon from BRS are the media to go with. Does anyone use their brand?

    Yes, I use both their carbon and GFO. Can't complain. I don't have anything to compare it with, but my params are all zero in a heavily stocked tank...so that's a good sign I think.
