I am thinking of buying this for my 20cube. I just purchased a Coralife PC ballast w/end-cap retrofit from a LFS and took it back as the end-cap boots came apart with no effort (like the rubber was disintegrating). I haven't had any other experiences with Coralife products so after this experience don't know about going any further with it.

i have been using this light for about 2 and a half years now. i had to replace the light because one of my cats knocked the canopy off the tank and the light broke. but other than that i think it should be fine.

We used 2 power quads in a 50 hex. Only draw back I found was the socket end of the bulb was easy to break after a few months use. Had to remove bulbs from boot and broke it more than once. I would use t-5 now but that is just a personal preference.

I've used other Coralife products for years with no problems.
