    Sophisticated 24-Hour Lighting System by marineland. Any thoughts on this? Do you think theis will overheat a 30 gallon tank? thanks

    I have this light, the 24 Inch model. It has not cause a heat problem on my 25 gallon tank. Right now, the MH has been running almost 2 hours and the temp in my tank is 81. I run the T5's 9 hours a day and the MH only 4.

    I love IT!!!! I also have two customers with the 4" version and they love it. The internal timer is easy to understand, the fan keeps the fixture cool and there is only one plug!

    The only thing, is that the fixture is about 18 inches front to back so I had to rig my tank with a CPR Overflow and a Sump because nothing would hang on the back of the tank.
