    Hi colts, I do not have that one I have the Nova extreme (48") and the fan is shall we say noticeable but you have to listen for it. I believe the one you are looking at has a separate cord for the fan so since it is on docking legs you could run it without the fans and see what it does to your tank temp and then adjust the temp down to accommodate the maybe 2 degree shift you may get.
