Anyone heard of a purple tile starfish?

    I'm not concerned with it eating sponges or crawling over my corals as long is it's not snacking on them.

    I've got a 180 with well over 300 pounds of rock. It's been set up for a year now but 100 pounds of the rock came out of my 55 that was 4 years old. I know my six line and mandarin stay fat so maybe that's a good sign???

    They are referred to as marble/ tile fromia starfish.

    Yes they are reef safe.
