Has anyone heard of or used a Clean up-200 protein skimmer by Won Brothers? I've been looking for a cheap external skimmer and I saw this on Aquacave. I think I might try this out and write a review on it when I get it.

If it doesn't work well then I'll only be out $120. The only review I found was a user review and he said it worked well and said it pulled dark nasty stuff from his water so I think I'll try it out. I'll use a mag 7 pump with it btw.

I never used this, but I do have a Sen 900 pump that I thought was junk. If I used it submerged, it was an awesome pump, but it leaked like you wouldn't believe. I was going to use it as an external pump to drive my return and UV filter, but it changed after it was spitting water out of the seams. Personally, I won't buy another Won Bros product, but that's just based on my one personal experience.

Yeah I decided to not use one of their pumps with it. I'll use a mag 7.

I'll let you know when I get the review on here. My water should have plenty of stuff for this thing to pull out I've been running skimmer-less for awhile.

lol, that skimmer in the link looks like it's running on an indoor koi pond.
I'd save your money and go for a skimmer you know will work.
Why waste time and money? Don't we do that enough in this hobby as it is?
