I sure hope there are no 3reefers in the path of this thing!!!!

Take a look at this video just shot a few min ago. My hubby got caught up in this mess and it took out a 50x60' tent, two of them actually. His 25ton ac's saved the pieces of the tent from blowing away and the generator is wrapped in tent! CRAZY!!!!!!!!

then look at the video that is with it one minute they were sitting on their deck at the hotel, the next they were getting Pelted by rocks!!!

 

they were driving through it and I was looking at the video saying WOW too! LOL they're going to see what tent fabric they can salvage and make a lean-to (LOL) for registration tomorrow They're doing a Chrysler Car Show. LOL All that $$ down the tubes!

wooh, i didnt get to see the video but assuming that was a tornado, thats incredible... hope they can salvage whats left, any damage other than the tent fabric? and whats a lean-to?

 

Nope, just a good old-fashioned desert dust storm. We get them on at least a weekly basis, specifically through the Washoe Valley area. Driving through them is commonplace here, even more so if you drive from here to Carson through the Valley. They can be nasty.
Glad to hear everyone was ok Gras. When those tents start going in the wind, there's not much you can do but stay out of their path till the wind subsides. Glad everyone was safe.
