The best stores Ive found are Ocean and Seas in Roseville they have amazing selection and are very helpful

Tropacorium in Romulus has the largest selection of coral Ive ever seen but not that large of a fish selection.

Stingray bay in St. clair Shores has great prices on fish and supplies but dont always have good information

Choice Aquariums in Farmington hills has the best prices on LR but there fish prices are way to high.

email me if you have any other questions about local places maybe I can help you out. Good luck!!

Few of my favorite local stores (well not local to me) are Kee's in Macomb Township and Pruess Animal House in Lansing. When I buy dry goods on-line I would recommend Premium Aquatics and Salty Critter. The live stuff I've bought from PA was live rock that they shipped DHL ground and it arrives the next day. Any other live goods I've was able to pick up when I was on a business trip and driving back home. Also I would highly recommend the live rock from PA the 2 orders I have placed with them had lots of life and they will pick out the size of pieces you want if you ask them. It is in large vats waiting to be bought. Feel free to PM if you are ever looking for something in the Michigan Area.

Few more on-line live goods links that I've bought from

...::BlueWater AquaFarms::...Quality Farmed SPS corals, LPS corals, Leather corals, Zoanthid, Palythoa, Protopalythoa ... Ebay Zoafrags,SPS, LPS, Zoanthids, Softies, Limited Edition Corals, corals, zoafrag, zoa, frag, zoas, frags, cultured acropora, Good Prices and some of the nicest Zoanthids

Reef aquarium invertebrates and reef safe fish Clean Up Crews even better if you get a few people to order.

IF you are near Pruess Animal House in Lansing they were having a sale on live rock for $49.99 per 5 gallon bucket and they provide the bucket. I was able to get 65lbs in it the last time. Now most of it was small stuff for my sump.
