I have someone selling one that is 3 months old for a little over $400.00. It's a Jalli 48" 2 x 250W MH & 2 x Actinic 54W. I've never heard of them, but from what I have read the fixture alone sells for over $700.00 WITH OUT BULBS!!

    Need input please..

    Thanks,

    John

Oh man, I was wondering when someone would ask something about those Jalli fixture's.... I had their small pc light, I believe it was 13 watts for one of my 2.5 gallons. Half the time it wouldn't turn on, other half the time it "flickered" throughout the day. Other time's it would get so hot I thought it would catch fire! Sent it back to them, waited 2 weeks(had the coralife 2x9w fixture on hand) for a fricken phone call to say they were just going to send me a new one. Waited another week for that to arrive, meanwhile I had been growing very fond of the Coralife, color and dependability. Got the ol' Jalli fixture back, they gave me a freshwater bulb.... I was ticked! Sent the bulb back, got a new one. FINALLY got the fixture on, color was no where NEAR the coralife's and was not pleased with the overall design. Had the fixture for a fricken week before it died.... Next came my super sweet Jalli T5 fixture! I thought I would give them another shot, cheap fixture... you think I would have known better after the pc light, but I didn't... So I got a T5 fixture from them the LFS was selling along with a 10 gallon tank(not my recent 10 gallon, this was a few years back) and brought it home. Set it up and to my surprise the light came on and stayed on! Well after about a month the light starts to "flicker" AGAIN! and I'm failry peeved. Sent it ANOTHER FIXTURE!!! and waited about a week and a half before any notice what-so-ever. Tank was cycling no biggie. Wait another week, got a new fixture. Cool right? Well I open it up and what do I find??? A FREAKIN PC FIXTURE!!!!!!!!!!!! Took the pc fixture(which didn't even have bulbs btw!!!) and had one heck of a time smashing it to pieces, which let out alot of frustration and anger(towards the company) Now, that said, it was a few years ago so I can't say anything about their current fixture's but if it was me I would stay away from them, I will never even think about even looking at there products anymore... I am still pretty anooyed to this day that I had so many problems, but such is life!
