Anyone know how to kill a particular fish?

I have a sailfin tang that I cannot get out of my tank...He eats brain corals..ive tried a fish trap with no success...needless to say I HATE this fish...I'm to the point where if he is dead its better than him being in my tank...so I am ready to murder...anyone have any ideas on how to do so without harming anyone else in the tank....i know this sounds brutal but I just cant have a $50 fish eating $80+ corals...its a last resort because i'm not removing my liverock to get to him I have too much rock and too much coral attached to it.

 

Make a harpoon gun, just be carefull that you dont hit your tank, they can break glass, but a small rubber band, and a small tube would work with arrow, but i would make this your last resort.

You need a size 16 egg hook.There tiny!use some 1-2lb fishing line and a bamboo skewer for the rod.Starve him out for a few days and get some bait on that tiny hook.I used some squid pieces.Try and drop it on him if you have any other fish in the aquarium.Be aware if you dont get him quick he will be wise to your operation.Then you may have to actually fish him.Swim the bait across the tank with the flow dipping and rising untill you get a reaction.
I just did this to my pixie hawkfish no more than 3 inches.She killed the other fish in the tank and I had had it.I had her in 4 hrs and back to the store for CREDIT.

Cut the barb off a fishing hook. Put it's favorite food on it.

 

Hook and line would work well, a size 18 fly hook with the crushed barb and some ice fishing line will work. A peice of mysis on the hook will do. Just don't set the hook, put a small fly fishing float and leave it in for a day. The float should tire him out and keep him from diving and tangling in your rock. All this can be found at your local orvis.

Totally! My girlfriend was cracking up at me hovering over the tank with a mini makeshift fishing rod.I didnt remove the barb either.I doubt the fish could have actually swallowed the whole thing and it bought me a little more time when it did bite.She spit the hook imedietly after i raised her into the temporary.

 

Eh when I had to catch my sailfin, I gave up, took a net, woke up at 3am, blasted the tank with light, he was disorientated and a quick swoosh of the net, and it was a done deal.
