you should be able to catch this fish without killing him. he didnt choose to be in your aquarium so I dont believe he should be punished for it. I caught mine with a net and seaweed clip. alive is a win win for you and him. as you can probably get LFS credit for him.

I do see that being your tank is 5x as big as mine that your task would be extremly difficult. but I hope you can catch him alive.

i use the night method. w camera and flash light, i use the infared light on my camera to see the tank, the fish cannot see the infared but you can see tank fully next i use reg flashlight and put it near the top. you'll only have bout 5 seconds of them being stunned to act but the flashlight will draw them towards that light and the infrared will give u a view to catch him, i saw your tank and other tank mates i feel anyone could grab the fishing line and if one fish does and it gets caught the others may not go near it again,

good luck, the hardest one i had to catch was a gold capped goby, he had a whole cave system under my rock, that was a nightmare.

yeh I dont wanna kill it, but i dont think some people realize the size of my tank...265gallons with 300lbs of liverock...being patient to catch it, is not an option like in smaller systems
