I know, you might say to yourself, why???? Or tell me to sell them.
But honestly, these things are ugly and brown, and reproduce like crazy. If they were brightly colored, I wouldn't mind them at all, and I'd have made this a ricordea tank. But I don't like them and really am tired of dealing with them stinging my other corals. They came already living on my live rock, so my thought was, oh cool, free coral. But they've multiplied like crazy, stung my favia, my purple mushrooms, my elegance and killed my yellow polyps.

So, I'll take some suggestions on killing these things off. Here's a few I've read so far.
    1. Scrape them off. (I don't think this is good enough)
    2. Kalk paste (I don't know what it is)
    3. Joes Juice. I'm assuming that I can buy this and inject it into the ricordea?

    Thanks.

how big are they? I have used Epoxy putty to cover the unwanted corals and in time will get covered with coraline or other coral growth

Can the rock be removed from the tank?

Gonna have to ask for some pictures of this one?

I dont think scraping them off cause its about like aptasia they just regrow on the fragments left behind.

I think you can use the other 2 methods you mentioned, and I dont know if lemon juice or boiling water (like aptasia) will work.

boiling water, my cleaner used to love to eat the lemon fragments, and swim through the lemon juice and it never really worked for me.

Unfortunately, they're on the main rock in my tank. Removing it would mean removing most of the rock work. I'd rather let them live than to deal with rescaping.

they're too big for epoxy covering.

Here's a pic of some of them on the center rock. I've managed to keep most corals away. The problem is that little ones are now sprouting near other corals.

Here, you can see them in the center and the far left.

Sounds more like a manjano anemone. Ricorida don't really have a powerful sting and don't reproduce that quickly. Joes, Juice, aptaisia-X, zap-taisa ect... would be my preference for killing them.

Whoops you posted while I was typing. They do look like rics, can you get a close up. Rics usually coexist with polyps pretty well. Did they kill them by covering them, or stinging them?
