Anyone know of any good Marine Biology Colleges/ Universities?

Of course, that means that unless your parents are wealthy, you would only be able to afford one trip a year back home, if that much. If it was my family we were talking about, I'd be ok with that

 

UH Manoa - Oahu, Hawaii.

Great marine biology program there from what a few friends of mine said that went through the program.

 

I would say SCRIPS all the way! I'm actually going there tomorrow. You're right at the beach, and very close to Sea World. My friends work there during the summer through work school programs. Pretty sure it couldn't get much better than that.

 

Top notch school for Marine bio

UCSC is another good one (U. of California, Santa Cruz)

UoH (Hawaii) is a good one as well.

OU (Oregon) is also a great one. Lots of work done there that is very relevant to this hobby.

 

you sure you want to be a marine biologist and not a marine ecologist? lol

ecology is what i want to do

 

U of Hawaii is probably where I would go if i were to do it over and actually finish my bio degree that I started out in before I switched to Communications. At least HI is in the states technically.

Now if money were no issue, I would say Australia (Cook as mentioned before) or some other even more remote South Pacific school would be a good idea.

 

Im looking at going to Florida Tech University for a major in Aquaculture then a minor in Marine Biology, but I heard they have a good marine biology program.

 

Better prepare yourself tadpole, lots of science and math and all for a paycheck >50k a year, good luck.

 

Moneys great but i rather do something i like and more than likely ill own a pet shop in the future.
