    Yuck, they're slimy. lol. Those are some kind of nudibranch. I don't know what kind though.

    Looks like it could be a chiton. If so congrats on a great addition to your clean up crew.

    call me crazy, but they at least slightly resemble a really thick/long bristleworm that is bunched up because it is out of water . . . .

    I agree. I see them like this all the time in my tank. Definitely not a nudi.
