Anyone know where to buy bulkheads?

I just got my new 150 aqueon dual overflow tank last night. It appers that the drilled holes in the overflow bottoms are different size than my existing one. The bulkheads, with barbs came with my stand pipe set. Both holes are 1 3/4. on the new one. Any suggestions? I dont want to have to buy new standpipe kits, since I already have them.

Bulkheads are not very common at hardware stores as they are a specialty item not often used.
If you don't have a good LFS in your area you might try glass holes.com.

Well, no luck there. Everyone sells bulkheads, but not with the barb for the drain and return hoses.

Seems crazy that they are so hard to find, when they are essential for overflow tanks.

 

I, looking for these, but 1 for drain, and 1 for return that fit 1 3/4 holes.

Don't even bother going to hardware stores. Go to your LFS or shop online at BulkReef Supply, Marine Depot, Gl*******s, SaltySupply.. Tons of stores and doesn't take long to receive.

Thanks, I have been to most, and I am starting to think that these are only sold with the standpipe kits. I may just have to buy a standard slip bulkhead, and PVC glue a barb into it.
