Is there anyone that knows of a fish or invert that will eat green hair algae? My lawnmower blenny and turbos won't touch it. I need some help with the battle. Thanks

A Yellow Tang will eat it, but might post your parameters. This will help for people recommending what kind of fish will work in your tank. Also adding a fish to clean hair algae is not a solution until you figure out what is causing the algae to grow.

try a seahare or you can go to reef cleaners.org and get something there.

I know what the problems are. I have started reducing feedings, lighting, regular water changes, manual removal and looking at some phosphate reducer of some kind (maybe kent). I brought this sonic scrubber that works pretty good but is very time consuming. Just thought a little help would be good.

Also,...my yellow tang will only eat the algae off the clip.

Do you use RO/DI? GHA is typically due to TDS in water and phosphates. Phosphate remover wont help if you are constantly topping off etc with bad water.

A toothbrush will :), it's common, practically impossible to kill, and will live a long time if cleaned after feedings. That's what I used on my rocks. That and a fish net to catch the gha after I scrubbed it off. Combined with RO water and some PhosGuard I eventually got rid of it.
