    Did you remove the rocks to scrub or do it while still in tank?

    This is what I use to scrub off the algae. It is also water proof.

    When it was really bad I took them out and scrubbed them in some tank water that I took out during a water change.

    damn its that bad u have to scrub the rocks! i guess i should be happy i have never had it that bad lol,

    opps I almost forgot. The Dolabella sea hare will mow in down the the rock in a hurry!

    and these snails are a little more money, but will do the trick on your hair algae.

    How long have you gone without feeding your Yellow off the clip? He might need to be straved a little to start eating it. Also my Red Sea Sailfin grazes off the rocks quite a bit.

    I had some hair algae pop up after my tank finished it's cycle. I added some cerith snails and an emerald crab. One or the other has been wiping it out at night.
