Anyone live on/by a time zone boundary?

Okay, this is pure curiosity. Does anyone here live on or by the boundary of a time zone? How does life go about there? haha i am really curious to what people have to say... like you wake up at 6, go to school 1 mile away but all of the sudden 1 hour later haha

 

used to have a lot of fun in Yuma AZ. It's right on the california border and doesn't use daylight savings time so 6 months out of the year you could cross the line to Ca and drink an extra hour then have fun avoiding the cops staking the crossing out to bust DUI's

 

In Arizona I lived so close to the line that my cell phone time would adjust randomly depending on which tower it found. talk about annoying.

there is city in New Zealand? that is split by the time zone. most people live one one side of town because of taxes and the businesses are on the other side because of economic reasons. the people have to travel through the time zone to get to work... bet thats a PIA

 

haha thats awesome! well not for people going to/from work. it sounds weird because to like set up an appointment you would have to ask what time zone the business is in haha
