Anyone notice the excessive cops in PA yesterday?

I live in north east PA and there were cops everywhere yesterday – and active at that, it seemed to be a major ticket blitz. I had run out to the store to pick up a new battery for my 68 corvette that I recently finished restoring and I was looking forward to going for a drive since it was a decent weather day (been a long cold winter you know!). But this car is loud as I am running glass packs with much of the fiberglass blown out. Didn’t want to risk that cops so I kept it in the garage – really put a crimp in the days plans.

I tinkered with the tank instead (the other hobby) – was a bummer tho.
Not worth it with the cops out ticketing left and right tho. When I take the car out I get followed by one cop after another – I like that since they are running the plate to make sure its not stolen. A 43 year old convertible corvette is an easy steal I suppose. Maybe next weekend…..oh well

I gave her a bath in the back yard, was filming the sounds of my thumper cam and straight pipes in the front and after rebuilding the engine and going out for a joy ride I found myself talking to the police.....

This rebuild has taken me the past 14 months or so. I am currently looking for a 69 or 70 to work on, ideally I would like to keep this one so I can drive it as I work on the other...we'll see. I either need to elbow deep in grease or salt or I am not happy
