    anybody know a good site where i can get a reasonably priced protein skimmer, keeping in mind i only have a 29 gallon tank, thanks!

    I recommend you get a Seaclone 100 hang on the back skimmer from www.bigalsonline.com and you have decided to make the best investment in your system! It is a great value.

    I've got this skimmer dialed in and it is pulling very dark and wet skimmate from the tank. I could put a larger volume skimmer, bigger pump and skimmer tube, but with the volume of filter feeders (soft corals and mushrooms) I don't want to overskim at this point. Seaclone is a great value HOB Skimmer.

    In the future, if I were to increase my fish bioload, I would move up to a HOB Aqua Medic Turbofloter !000 Multi as I don't have room for the in-sup version.
