Hi, I just bought a tunze 9002 skimmer for my 28g jbj nanocube. It doesn't quit fit all the way jn the center compartment but I've heard there's an easy mod to put ur skimmer in there.
Anyone have any knowledge on how to do this?

Well I'm thinking of just cutting the hood for that but I dont know how to keep the skimmer intact after I cut off the magnet.

The skimmer cup will work but the actual unit is too wide to fit in the back with the magnet.

I'm thinking of just adding a new magnet to the back of the skimmer. Has anyone tries this before?

How long do those smaller skimmer cups take to ship?

The company is from WI, they use ground shipping. Takes only a day or less sometimes to leave their warehouse.
