Anyone saltwater or deep sea fish?

Just curious if anyone fishes the ocean. My wife told me it goes against everything that cost thousands in the house haha. Something different about reeling in a few large stripers. Cant wait for tuna season!

Me too so I did it! I want to buy a charter buisness now

 

I have a group I like to get together about once a year to go deep sea sport fishing. We usually get a 10 hour trip and go for tarpon, dolphin and jack with the occasional shark. Its a great time, and with 6 of us splitting the charter cost its not that expensive.

ALway's wanted to....We have spoonbill here that get over 100 lbs and have snagging season....It is a good catch,,,my biggest was only 65 though...My largest catfish was a 41 lbs Flathead.....My largest catfish from noodling (catch em by hand) was a 18 lbs Flathead.....largest Blue cat was 32 ( not by hand).....Largest bass was 8 lbs

I used to go quite a few times when I lived in California. I moved right at the start of them pretty much banning it, I think Tuna is about the only major sport fish left there. Went salmon fishing last time with my dad, and he caught the season record.
