    in reading through the description it says "no ballast required"...so I have to wonder if they are meant to be run with a ballast?

    maybe they are not meant to be run in a standard T8 fixture, but a modified one?

    interesting though...

    They seem a little pricey when you get above 4' but if they last longer then it may be ok. I had a catalog sent to the house and was wondering if anyone was using one yet. Starting to look at putting the 265g back up cause I need some fish again... :(
