anyone use Geismann lighting??

any thoughts on these? good/bad? thanks

 

I used Geisemann bulbs in my Aquactinic TX5 fixture. They're great bulbs.

 

I run all Gman at home and at the shop. They are nice lamps, BUT some really get bugged by the fact that they don't light ALL the way to the end of the lamp, but end about an inch or so from the end. Also, ATI does have comparable lamp spectrums that put out a smidge more PAR...
GMan is probably second best as far as lamps go.

 

how about the fixtures? i was lookign at the geisman reflex fixture. anyone know anything about them? individual reflectors? fans?

Never used them, they are fairly new and pretty pricey...

 

Just UVL here. I would use Giesemann though. Good bulbs.

I don't use them, but if I could not get ATI's when i needed them, i would sub in a geiseman. I rate them 2nd best of all the t5 bulbs out there, behind ATI. UVL's are ok, better than most cheaper ones, but they don't quite perform as well as other ATI or geiseman's for the same $$.
