Anyone use nitrate reactors?

i thought you bought a Truely H2O reactor?

 

Yes, i have read some complaints as well but can't see why the reactor would cause what the people are complaining about. Mostly, I have read that people's corals started bleaching when they ran the bio pellet reactors. i'm not sure that i understand why this would cause the bleaching. i have one at home that i haven't set up yet so i guess i will see what happens.

 

I think he's talking about a sulfur denitrator, not a biopellet reactor. Unless I misunderstood?

If you are talking of a sulfur denitrator then I found a link on another forum where a couple of guys made one out of pvc and it looks pretty spiffy. I don't really want to link to another forum but DIY Sulfur Denitrator - Reef Central Online Community it has a pretty decent guide to making one with pics. Maybe this will help you?

 

yeah, i saw this one before... my friend has built one one of these and has been using it for a few years but im looking for any other designs that people have some up with.
