Forget purewaterclub and the junk they peddle!

I bought one of thier units, opened the box, plumbed it in, turned it and then fixed about 6 leaks. Tried it again and got nothing out of it. turned out the unit wasnt even assembled correctly coming from them. Fixed that and still had a leak from a cracked fitting, again came from them as it wasnt one of the ones I had to put tape on. Contacted them to voice my disappointment and three weeks.... nothing. It wasnt till I left them feedback did I get a 'why you leave feedback' message. It still said nothing to address the problems I had with the unit. Just thier concerns for thier feedback.

If they were my only option for RODI water I would jsut sell my tank & get out the hobby before giving any of my money to them again.

Any RO/DI should give you 0 TDS, at least for a little while. The key is better units give you 0 TDS for much longer so end up costing less due to less frequent DI changes. But thats only part of it, better units also have better prefilters and carbon blocks which make the RO membrane last longer too. Better units also include things like TDS meter and pressure gauges, necessary pieces of equipment which must be added to the cheaper units at more cost.

Well thanks for the advice guys. I ended up ordering them a new Spectrapure unit for $125, quite a steal IMO. I explained the benefits of the better brand and sold them on it.
