1st) can someone give me the id for the brown polyp?

Other than the brown and the yellow, another animal started to show up on the rock, as you can see the encrusting leather is blue, the animal as it has gotten bigger looks to me it might be some kind of Zoanthid or Button polyp, are they the same thing?

Brown polyps are a common green button paly. Yellow are star paly. The others look to be zoa's but type unknown as they are closed ;) Palythoa and Zoanthids are different yet brothers :)

Different species, but pretty much compatible with each other.

I sure got more than I bargained for when I bought that rock at petco, more is coming back than I thought would, I thought those where starting out to look like disk shape, its good to see them improve even with my slight ammonia issue, whatever they are looks like there is going to be quite a few of them, I will update as they get bigger so we can get an id on them.

Still no idea what this guy is, they are bigger and there is more of them, but still small, is there like mini versions of the Zoanthid or Button polyps? They look to be something of the sort.

They can choke out the yellow polyps, I am Ok with that, but those other things they look like their going to be nice with very nice color, but again still small, I am hoping they will get bigger and their leather base will also grow then perhaps I can remove some and relocate them on to their own rock, but still small to try and remove that leather base off the rock.

They look like zoas to me. Just need to wait for them to open. Guessing a color at this point is useless. There are just too many combonations out there.

In my experience, yellow polyps are a nightmare. They take over everything faster than xenia choking out everything in their path. I have them in my current tank, and have watched horrified as they take over.
