Anyone watching Life on Discovery?

haha my fiance said the same thing. She totally would fight me to this day that the flying fish they showed were totally fake and dont even exist.:

 

did anyone catch any mistakes in last night show?

and it was a GREAT show

 

I only partially watched last night. The show was annoying me. There was one time where I am confident that there was only 2 minutes between commercials. I have it DVR'd so I'm just going to watch it sans commercial breaks.

Even though I wasn't paying attention fully, I still found one error. The narration was indicating that mammals work cooperatively and other animals don't. Hmmmm, tell that to sea creatures that are being hunted by Humbolt Squid. What about when a couple of starlings drive away eagles or hawks by working together. What about geese who cooperatively fly in their "V" and the goose in front does that for a bit and then gets spelled for a bit and so on and so forth so they share in the work of creating the "slip zone" in the air. What about the fish in Finding Nemo who all swim downwards to break the net. yada, yada, yada

 

Yeah, I think that this show was a bit rushed and is trying too hard to compare to Planet Earth. I personally get tired of hearing "captured for the first time" or "never had footage been taken of this before.....until now" all the freaking time.
