Its been about a year...its really sad :( it was vibrant and wavy when my tomato clown was alive...and then he was killed by the ich...and the anemone has never been the same since...

How could anyone pass up on a BTA if their tank params are good, the anemone is bought healthy, and you have at least T5 lighting is beyond me!... here are some pics of my VERY happy BTA and its clowns :) Seeing them play in the anemone, sleep in the anemone, clean the anemone, and feed the anemone is without a doubt the most enjoyable thing to watch in my reef.

Tank is to new and if you only have 1 150 M/H on a 90 then your lights suck as far as any anemone is concerned .. When I was keeping BTA is never had any problems with them or any of the several species I have had.

I always kept mine in a species specific aquarium and never in a reef tank Anemones are not reef animals . A tank really should be a good 1.5 yrs old and very very stable and lots of light and a 150 on a 90 is not enough I had 2 175's on a 90 and it was weak for any anemone . Unless it was high up on the rocks .. Good luck with getting an anemone to set up shop high up a few inches under the water line . They never set up where you want them..

If you have clowns hosting in your BTA they will feed it no need to target feed
before clowns hosted in mine I would feed small pieces of krill or mysis

    I agree wholeheartedly.

Secondly, I'm of the opinion that 90% of the people that purchase anemones have no business owning one. At PR, I would refuse to sell them to most of my customers.

I learned they should be in a species specific aquarium the hard way. The only things that survived the walkabouts is a toadstool leather and a maxima.
    Everything. Else. Died.
Don't be like me, I'm stupid.
