My LFS got one in so I got to see it in person, and at <1/3" it's so much cooler than pictures. I know they need an SPS (which they will likely kill) to call home and I think I read they can share food with it? I'm not planing on buying it, but want to get a good habitat when I'm ready for SPS. Is it ok if I put it in my fuge with 1 or 2 Janss' Pipefish? Which sould go in first? Any other notes you guys have? There really isn't much on them, but from what I gathered this is what's needed:
-Small enough food (no clue on what is small enough)
-Very peaceful tank mates (preferably with small mouths, like pipefish and seahorses)
-An SPS (forgot what kind was best, I'll look again)
-Small tank, so he won't get lost (fuge is around 20G, out of a 35G sump)
-Filters etc. need to be sponge covered
-Some sites also suggest it is a variation of a Clown Goby?

These guys look to be pretty rare, colorful, and energetic so I hope I can gather enough info on them before deciding if I want one ordered.

very similar care to glown gobies IMO, and if your gonna do an all SPS tank, then just get the full spectrum of SPS, Montiporas (enrusting, branching and plating) Acroporas, pocilloporas etc.

If you get a pair, they will lay eggs on the underside of the SPS causing slight tissue lost, but if your tank is healthy enough it should grow back.

Frozen/live brine shrimp should be fine, even some small flakes.

These guys are great for nanos.

Can be cannibalistic like clown gobies so be careful. Also, they don't kill SPS, they remove some of the tissue to lay eggs on (which when they hatch make excellant food for SPS, sortof a give and take) but nothing an Iodine dip can't solve. Also, try a resin SPS for them to sit on, my friend who tried to breed clown gobies di the same and they loved it!

I'd do a little cheap SPS island, 1 or 2 frags of Milli and BN with a PAR30 over it, and introduce 3-4 to that. Then they'll stick to that area.
