Apex setup question

    Ok so I just got in my new Apex unit and am working on starting to set it all up. I have everything plugged in and I have been using the unofficial setup guide as a reference tool. So I am having trouble setting up the network connection.

    When I try to access through http://apex or through my controllers IP number I keep getting a box pop up that says windows security at the top and then asks for a username and password.

    What is this looking for?????

    It says Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner.

    I have no idea what this means or what username/password it is refering to......

    I also just downloaded the Apex Ap on my Ipad and when I try to log in to my apex through it, it says controller login and requires a username and password........do I need to create one.......is this the same username/password it required on my laptop.

    Sorry I am lost and this is frustrating

    When presented with the login screen, type the default user name “admin” and password “1234” (without the quote marks).

    Will do....I am sure I will. Just trying to work on outlet setup.....how to setup my lights on timers and all that fun stuff. I imagine once I get the hang of it, it will be much easier but right now it is all a bt confusing. lol

    Ok I am an idiot....how do you assign specific outlets on the energy bar 8 to certain things...lights, heater, etc
