    So all of these APEX questions have led me to a question of my own. I just purchased a new APEX for my tank - and plan to set it up next week when I am on vacation - is the EB8 a surge protector as well - or do those of you that use them, have the EB8 hooked up to a seperate surge protector? I am hooking it to a GFCI outlet, but I know that is not necessarily the same thing.
