    Unless you raise the alk incredibly high you may very well not kill all aiptasia. In raising the alk that high you will also probably kill all other critters such as micro brittle star, stomatella and a whole host of other inverts you rarely see. You will also damage the bio-film, with all this die off you risk creating a cycle.

    Your two best options IMO are to either get peppermint shrimp or dry and recycle the rock, otherwise it's a lesson in frustration.
