aptaisa or random button polyp?

    it might be a mojano anemone. Which is a pest and spreads as fast as, if not faster then aptasia. However my mojano has more rounded tentacles then what appears to be on that picture.

    Does it retract in if you touch it?

    If it is an aptasia..do not try to remove it manually (tweezers) It can cause it to spread faster.

    I am treating all my tanks for aptasia tonight. What I am doing is get kalk and make a thick paste with it. Get a feeding stick and rub the paste all over that thing. You want to try to get into the center by its mouth. But you will see it shrivel up to nothing

    thanks for all the feedback guys, i think i'm taking that its not good whatever it is- i'lltry aptasia x on it tonight - if that dont work i'll boiling lemon juice it!!

    I would google mojano's images and you can compare those pics with yours to verify. I know I started with one and the next thing there where hundreds. to remove it i heard injecting boiling hot water they will peel off easy. I use joe's juice myself.

    hi guys, after having a good look under the halides its starting to look like a majano - however its never moved , think i'll boiling water it and remove tommorow, unless any one has any comments advising a better way of removing easily?
