    Hey Reefers,

    Quick question does aptasia move around on live rock or does it stay put.
    Just that i think 1 has moved, or maybe the peppermint shrimp have got hold of it.

    they grow to the rock...i've never seen mine move. They seem to stay in the same spot. Their offspring will grow somewhere near the parent/wherever the flow takes them.

    move all over the place and become a problem real quick. the peppermint can only handle the small once they get big enough you must use other means. these nasty things basically destroyed my tank almost 2 years ago.

    Mine haven't moved although I'm not entirely convinced that they're aiptasia. Mine are pink on the inside and almost glittery on the outside.
