I had the Aqua C till I broke it. (Long story) It worked great, as for how loud it was the only thing I have to compare it to is the CPR Backpak, which it is quieter than. But some people say it is noisy.

Go with the Remora. I had the Supper Skimmer 65 and it was loud, but an annoying loud - somethign whistled, so it was high pitched. I returned it for a second one and it made the same noise.

The Remora worked great from day 1. It pulls out almost a full cup every 2-3 days. It needs no adjustment and is low maintence. It also looks much better then the supper skimmer and is less noticible in back, and takes up alot less room in the tank. The supper skimmer had a huge return that goes inthe tank, the remora does not.

The remora makes some noise, but its not too bad. mine is in out living room where we watch tv and it is not a bother. i would get the remora hands down!

Great info =) Looks like I am going to go with the Remora, I am not going to go with the pro because my tank is only 47 gallons and my next tank will be significantly larger and will utilize a wet/dry filter and most likely an octopus NW. I am scouring the web looking for a good deal now.

I just bought the Aqua C with the drain and maxijet 1200 for 200 at the LFS. I could have gotten it a little cheaper online, but it beats the 279.99 he had listed on the box! I have only had this hooked up a day, but it runs a lot quieter than the RedSea Priszm and seems to have a better overall design. :)
